Terms of Use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These terms apply to the Repbolt app, made by Doveling. By using Repbolt you agree to them and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.

What Repbolt is

Repbolt locks the apps you choose and lets you unlock them for a while with minutes you earn by exercising. It counts reps with your iPhone's camera, on your device, and uses Apple's Screen Time system, which is controlled by iOS.

Exercise safely

Repbolt is not a medical or fitness-coaching product and doesn't give medical advice. Only do exercises you can do safely, warm up, use a stable surface and a sturdy bar, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Talk to a doctor before starting if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant. You exercise at your own risk, and we aren't liable for injuries.

Rep counting

Camera rep counting is an estimate. It depends on lighting, camera angle and form, and can miss or add reps. Earned minutes aren't a measure of fitness.

The app lock

The apps you choose stay blocked until you spend earned minutes to unlock them. With Strict mode on, apps can't be deleted while they're locked. Emergency calls stay available from the Lock Screen. Don't lock apps you may need in an emergency or for work, travel or safety.
