Repbolt is an app blocker that locks the apps you choose and lets you earn time back by exercising. Your iPhone's camera counts your reps. Repbolt has no accounts and no servers of its own, so almost everything it does happens on your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what that means.
What stays on your iPhone
Camera frames. While a workout is on screen, Repbolt uses the camera and Apple's on-device Vision framework to find your body's pose and count reps (or plank seconds). Frames are processed in memory as they arrive and then discarded. Repbolt never records, saves or uploads video or photos, and nothing from the camera leaves your iPhone.
Your workouts and minutes. Your rep history, earned and spent minutes, streaks and stats are stored on your device, shared only with Repbolt's own widgets and Screen Time extensions on the same iPhone.
App lock choices. You pick apps with Apple's Screen Time picker (the FamilyControls framework), which gives Repbolt opaque tokens only. Repbolt can't see which apps you chose, what you do in them or how long you use them, and that data never leaves your device.
Apple Health steps, only if you turn on steps (a Pro feature). Repbolt then asks for permission to read your step count, reads it on your iPhone to add minutes to your balance, and never writes to Apple Health or sends your steps anywhere. You can turn this off in the app or in the Health app at any time.
Your settings, such as app groups, unlock prices, unlock lengths and Strict mode.
What leaves your iPhone
Purchase status. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify them. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID that Repbolt generates (not your name, email or Apple ID) and your purchase receipts. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
That's it. Repbolt doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it never asks for your name, email or phone number.
What we don't do
We don't record, store or look at camera images. There's nowhere to send them: we don't have a server.
We don't track you across other apps or websites.
We don't sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We don't read your Screen Time or Health data on any server.
Permissions
Repbolt asks for Screen Time (to lock the apps you choose) and Camera (to count reps). If you use those features, it also asks for Apple Health (step count, read only) and Notifications. You can change any of these in the iPhone Settings app at any time. Without the camera, Repbolt can't count reps.
Deleting your data
Everything Repbolt stores is on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app. Deleting it also removes its app locks. If you email us, we keep that email only as long as we need to answer it.
Children
Repbolt is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
