Terms of Use

Last updated: September 26, 2026

These terms apply to the Dawnlock app. By using Dawnlock you agree to them and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.

What Dawnlock is

Dawnlock is an alarm clock with wake-up missions, re-ringing alarms and an optional app lock. It uses Apple's alarm and Screen Time systems, which are controlled by iOS.

Alarms are your responsibility

We work hard to make Dawnlock reliable, but an alarm can fail to ring for reasons outside our control, including a dead battery, a powered-off phone, low ringer volume, iOS updates, or permissions you've changed. Don't rely on Dawnlock alone for anything where oversleeping could cause harm, like medication, flights or safety-critical work. We aren't liable for missed alarms or their consequences.

The app lock

If you turn on the app lock, the apps you choose are blocked until you complete your wake-up mission, and always unlock after the safety window you set in Settings. Emergency calls stay available from the Lock Screen. Don't lock apps you may need in an emergency.

Disclaimer

Dawnlock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
