Privacy Policy

Dawnlock is an alarm clock that makes you complete a short mission to turn it off, and can keep chosen apps locked until you do. It has no accounts and no servers of its own. Almost everything it does happens on your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what that means.

What stays on your iPhone

What leaves your iPhone

That's it. Dawnlock doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and doesn't ask for your name, email or phone number.

What we don't do

Permissions

Dawnlock asks for Alarms (to ring through Silent mode and Focus), Notifications (wake-up checks and bedtime reminders), and, only if you use those features, Calendar, Camera, Motion & Fitness and Screen Time. You can change any of these in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Deleting your data

Everything Dawnlock stores is deleted when you delete the app. iOS may keep alarms an app has already scheduled for a short while after the app is deleted, so before deleting Dawnlock, open Settings → Turn off every alarm.

Children

Dawnlock is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
