Privacy Policy

Savings Lock (貯金ロック in Japanese) is a savings notebook with a lock on the apps that tempt you to spend. It has no accounts and no servers of its own, and it never connects to your bank or cards. This policy explains what that means.

What stays on your iPhone

Your own iCloud

A compressed copy of your savings book is kept in your own iCloud (Apple's key-value storage), so it can come back when you set up a new iPhone. We can't read it. You can turn this off in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud. Backup files and CSV exports you make go only where you choose to save or share them.

What leaves your iPhone

That's it. Savings Lock doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it never asks for your name, email or phone number.

What we don't do

Permissions

Savings Lock asks for Screen Time (to lock the apps you choose) and Notifications (so the block screen can bring you back to the app to take a breath). Face ID is optional. You can change these in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Deleting your data

Everything Savings Lock stores is on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app, which also removes its app lock. The iCloud copy can be removed by turning off iCloud for Savings Lock in Settings. If you email us, we keep that email only as long as we need to answer it.

Children

Savings Lock is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
